A little about me..

I'm Maria Schmitt, your go-to adventure couples & wedding photographer in Grand Junction, Colorado! I was born and raised in the states but I have familial roots in Mexico. I’ve been taking photos for about four years and I pour my heart and soul into capturing the love stories of couples and family who thrive on adventure. At 28, I just find myself longing for new experiences—whether it’s exploring a new city, snorkeling in the ocean or sky diving. I'm fueled by a passion for living. I spend an ungodly amount of time trying new restaurants, local breweries, and antique stores.

As for when I first started my journey into photography, I picked up my camera about four years ago and have not put it down since that pivotal moment. I understand how cliche that may sound, but it’s how it all went down haha. Photography found me during a time of my life when I truly needed it the most, serving as both a creative outlet and a source of healing. Personally and professionally, I am a strong advocate for inclusion and equality. I wholeheartedly offer my photography services and sincere friendship to everyone, regardless of their religion, race, gender identity, or sexual orientation. My mission is to cultivate a welcoming and supportive environment where all my clients can feel not only accepted but also celebrated for who they are ♡
